Mermalair

The main room of the Mermalair

The Mermalair is an expensive base under the Shady Shoals Retirement Home. Its two main inhabitants are Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy. There is no obvious reason for this placement, other than the home was built over it to camouflage it from prying eyes. There are multiple ways of getting in and out, such as the garage where the Invisible Boat Mobile is parked and the slide under the couch where Mermaid Man spends most of his life watching television.

It is a district of Bikini Bottom, and is estimated to have about 350 inhabitants. (This includes Shady Shoals retirement home.)

There's also a big chamber of (once frozen) tartar sauce that used to encase Man Ray. There is also an orange box room with memorable possessions of Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy and the Time Machine.
