He is now retired, but SpongeBob did not believe it and ended up beating him up at a cross walk in Downtown Bikini Bottom. Outraged, he shot his Atomic Breath right at Barnacle Boy and was severely burned. The Atomic Flounder seems to be the only villain that aged unlike ManRay, the Dirty Bubble, The Moth, Kelp Thing, Jumbo Shrimp, and Prawn .
Looks
The Atomic Flounder is a very light colored flounder, with strange looking eyes and a green jumper. He has brown striped pants and wears a tiny hat and carries an umbrella.

- His name may be a parody of the Atomic Wedgie.
- The Atomic Flounder's atomic ray was possibly taken from Godzilla.
