At the Reef, SpongeBob and Patrick decide to watch a horror movie entitled Fisherman 4: Revenge of the Hook. However, the movie scares them to the point where they hide inside their seats, missing the movie. They watch it again, but fail to watch the entire film. As they head home, they begin to think the Fisherman, the film's villain, is following them. Squidward brings them home, but then decides to dress up as the Fisherman to scare them. He manages to grab Patrick by the nose with his hook, but the dim-witted starfish runs off and Squidward is dragged along. He ultimately hits the door to SpongeBob's house, where Patrick is hiding, but manages to get in. SpongeBob and Patrick eventually battle Squidward and send him falling out an open window, after which they learn that Squidward was wearing the suit.
