SpongeBob discovers that his breakfast cereal, [[Kelp-O]], has an offer for a free toy. Once he responds to the offer, he must wait patiently for the toy to arrive. SpongeBob is getting impatient, so he sets up camp right next to his mailbox, determined to be present when the mailman shows up with his treasure. He gets frustrated when Sandy and Gary distract him with feeding and karate, flipping Sandy and telling Gary the "importance" of waiting for the toy. Patrick then comes and tells SpongeBob that he missed his own surprise birthday party. Eventually the toy arrives and Patrick "breaks" it, leaving SpongeBob devastated. However, Squidward shows him later that its head, arms, and legs are supposed to spring off, and reattaches them. SpongeBob and Patrick then hug Squidward, thanking them for fixing the toy. When asked how he can be repaid, Squidward replies "Move to another neighborhood." | SpongeBob discovers that his breakfast cereal, [[Kelp-O]], has an offer for a free toy. Trivia/Goofs
- SpongeBob bought more than 99 Kelp-O boxes.
- This was not the first time SpongeBob did not receive a toy from the cereals because in the episode Shanghaied, SpongeBob eats the whole cereal but he does not receive a toy.
- This episode is based on a SpongeBob book, "Special Delivery!", where SpongeBob sends 100 boxtops for a string and waits with Patrick over Summer, Easter, Halloween and Christmas. When the string eventually arrives Patrick breaks it.
- When SpongeBob flips Sandy over, the mailbox, which was open a moment ago, has closed.
- Also, Sandy's karate gloves are red instead of green.
- The mailbox disappears after SpongeBob receives his toy, and only appears again when Squidward walks past them, then it disappears again.
- SpongeBob stops crying when Squidward takes the toy from him, but his sobbing is still heard until Squidward de-springs it.
- On the Kelpo toy, there was a button in the middle of its chest which is supposedly supposed to be pushed to make it spring, but whenever it springs, its head is budged instead.
- Budging the toy's head would've caused the "breakage" in real life, as it could jam the mechanism.
