Here are a few rules:

  • Nicktoons crossovers are counted.
  • Bold means the character was the main character of and/or played a major role in a specific episode, movie, short, book or video game.
  • Italic means the character appears in a feature-length movie, a book, a video game, or a musical. It is also used for the titles of television shows that the specific character appears in.
  • Episodes where a character cameos, appears in a deleted scene, appears as an entirely different character not related to him/her/them or appears in a time card (e.g. Born Again Krabs), as well as episodes where only his/her/their voice is heard, count as episode appearances. However, episodes where a character is an entirely different character that is nonetheless related to him/her/them (e.g. the robots in Welcome to Binary Bottom) do not count. Exceptions to this rule are if both the character and an entirely different character that's nonetheless related to him/her/them appear in the same episode (e.g. SB-129, where SpongeBob and Patrick both appear, as do their first prehistoric ancestors, Primate Sponge and Prehistoric Starfish, and futuristic descendants SpongeTron and Patron) or episodes that parody fairy tales, whereupon the characters essentially "play" otherwise entirely different characters (e.g. Plankton and the Beanstalk).
  • All episodes are listed by production order unless an episode has only one segment broadcast at the moment. Upcoming episodes with available screenshots are acceptable.
