- Mr. Krabs - Owner/Founder/Boss. In The Krusty Sponge, he created the restaurant.

- SpongeBob SquarePants - Train Driver.
- Squidward Tentacles - Cashier/Fry Cook/Autographs. He was forced to sign autographs, though he had no use of his arms.
- Cashy - Just a cash register. Holds the money.
[edit] Origin
When Gene Scallop interviewed the Krusty Krab and said that SpongeBob's Patty was really good, Mr. Krabs gave the Krusty Krab a SpongeBob theme thus creating "The Krusty Sponge".
[edit] Progress
Everything in the restaurant was SpongeBob-themed. There was SpongeBob drinking straws, napkins, ice cubes (which melted), and yellow "Spongy Patties" and also Mild Bobby Sauce and Tangy Spongy Sauce. There was a SpongeBob train ride right outside the eatery. The ticket costs $1.98 - without a safety belt. But this time, Squidward was the fry cook, and SpongeBob drove the The Krusty Sponge Fun Train. Krabs sold the moldy patties for $2.98 (Originally $1.98).
[edit] Shutdown
The Spongy Patties poisoned everyone, turned them yellow with green spots, and caused them to act like zombies. Mr. Krabs was punished by Judge Horace A. Whopper, and The Krusty Sponge Restaurant was shut down for a day, except for the train ride, so that Judge Horace A. Whopper could get free rides, although it is never seen in other episodes. It is presumably the Krusty Krab again.
