Goo Lagoon is an undersea beach where SpongeBob and his friends hang out. There are many lifeguard towers to keep people safe. Some people who go there are Sandy, Larry the Lobster, Don the Whale and many other fish under the sea. There is a lifeguard service with many helpers who volunteer. There are many parts of Goo Lagoon including the Valentine's Day Carnival, the Salty Splitoon and Mussel Beach.
In addition to that there are many snack bars and juice bars. A lot of competitions are held at Goo Lagoon each year including Weightlifting and Surfing competitions, Sand-castle competitions and the Annual Hot Dog Chug.. Goo Lagoon is seen in many episodes throughout the series.
