Plot
SpongeBob becomes musical when a storm of destructive winds occurs in Bikini Bottom, causing jellyfish to become attracted to him. He tries to get to work but the wind is too strong and the jellyfish refuse to let him go to work. He hides in a cave and builds stone-replicas of himself to attract the jellyfish. Many weeks later, he comes out from hiding just to find that the destructive storm has caused the Krusty Krab to be engulfed in sand, and he screams in terror. 3,000 years later, three aliens discover the circle of SpongeBob Stones that attract the jellyfish.
Trivia/Goofs
- The title is a spoof of the monument Stonehenge.
- This episode will be a last two-digits of SpongeBob SquarePants.
- This is Barbara and Bob's second appearance, the two first appeared in episode Krusty Sponge.
- The time card says later, then SpongeBob is seen with a beard, hair and shredded clothes. How could he be seen as if he's been there for years if it was only later in the day?
- The scene where SpongeBob is in a cave hiding from the jellyfish and making a stone buddy is a reference to the movie Castaway.
- It's likely that the winds hitting Bikini Bottom were hurricane force winds as they were knocking buildings down, like the Krusty Krab.
- The cave that SpongeBob hides in is the same cave seen in Nature Pants.
- When SpongeBob is trying to get to work, he says that he has never been tardy before and would not start today. SpongeBob has been tardy multiple times, including the episode Blackened Sponge and *The Krusty Krab being in sand is a reference to the movie Planet of the Apes, where Charelton Heston is going along the beach and sees the Statue of Liberty covered in sand. However,SpongeBob does not say the You maniac. joke.
- The plot to this episode is somewhat similar to the episode "Jellyfish Jam".
- When the 3,000 Years later time card is shown, it's one thousand years later than "SB-129" which was 2,000 years later.
- This is the first time a weatherman appears in the series.
- As for who was right in the Neptune/Poseidon debate seen in the very beginning, they were both right. The Romans called him Neptune and the Greeks called him Poseidon.
- Patrick eats Kelp Cream in this episode, it is a spoof of whipped cream.
- In SB-129, the future has everything colored chrome, but in this episode, 3,000 years later, the future is looking just like contemporary, and now nothing is chrome. Perhaps, in the 1,000 years, the future changed its mind and decided to have anything to be liberty of colors or just probably jellyfish fields was not chromed.
- This episode was aired on the first day as part of Nick's Nonstop Five at Five.
- This is the second time SpongeBob's fingers are too big for the buttons on the telephone. The first was in Suds.
- When SpongeBob's pores are whistling, the sound is the whistling of a pan flute.
- SpongeBob finds the Krusty Krab to be buried in sand at the end of the episode. However, the exterior and the sign got blown off by the wind earlier in the episode, so it is possible that SpongeBob found the exterior and the sign itself.
- Bill Fagerbakke was the face on the moon. He is also the voice of Patrick. But in the credits,Paul Tibbit was credited as moon.
- The faces on the moon and sun is a reference to Teletubbies, where there is a baby's face on the sun.
