"Pickles" is an episode of SpongeBob SquarePants from season one. It premiered on August 21, 1999. Template:Spoiler Brief summary: SpongeBob loses his confidence in his ability to make Krabby Patties and later his ability to perform tasks in order after he was tricked into thinking that he did not place pickles on a Krabby Patty order. Is he confused?

Plot
It is an average day at the Krusty Krab, until Bubble Bass comes along with some sandwiches. He lies about there being no pickles in his Krabby Patty just to cause trouble for SpongeBob, and it does. Mr. Krabs takes it out of his pay because Bubble Bass read the microscopic print below the menu that says "Money Back Guarantee" on it. SpongeBob loses his confidence (and his mind), and cannot remember how to do anything. Mr. Krabs tells him to go home and get some rest. He has Squidward take over the grill, which leads to disaster, due to the fact that he reduces every patty to ash.
Mr. Krabs is worried about this, so he goes to Spongebob's house, where everything is mixed up (such as eggs being nailed to the walls). Mr. Krabs explains to Spongebob that if he remembers how to make a Krabby Patty, he will be back in order. It takes days, but it turned out that SpongeBob could still make a Krabby Patty with the works as he and Mr. Krabs accidentally find out. Bubble Bass then comes back and fakes the Krabby Patty not having pickles again. They find out that Bubble Bass has been hiding the pickles under his tongue the whole time.
Trivia
- This is the first appearance of Spat the Spatula. He's seen being whirled around dizzy by Spongebob when he whips up a
perfect second Krabby Patty for Bubblebass in the climax of the episode.
