As seen in the SpongeBob movie video game, this move is acquired while in the trench in order to hit the switches with pictures of "Bowling balls" on them. After hitting them, a platform, new path or route is open. Advanced Form
The bubble bowl has no advanced form in Battle for Bikini Bottom, but in the movie, you can upgrade the bowling ball to a "Macho Bubble Bowl" using manly points. The upgraded version is a gray spiked ball which (In range of a few feet) will turn red and zap an enemy. When it finally breaks the Bubble Bowl will explode and make a huge thunder explosion.
