Plot
When the son of the legendary race-car driver, Tony Fast Jr., begins attending Mrs. Puff's Boating School, SpongeBob gains helpful advice from him that makes driving easier for him. But things get chaotic when the two go for a drive around town in his father's racing boat.
Trivia/Goofs
- The episode's name may be a reference to Hotshot, an Autobot from the Transformers franchise.
- This is the second time SpongeBob learns from a different person about driving rather than Mrs. Puff. The first time was Mrs. Puff, You're Fired.
- This is going to air in the SpongeBob Summer Marathon.
- After the credits 9 Story Entertainment will now distribute the series along with United Plankton Pictures and Nickelodeon.
