==Plot== 
Mr. Krabs needs a new mattress after his old one threw out his back. Squidward refuses to buy the mattress for his "cheapskate" boss so SpongeBob and Patrick buy him one it is a comfortable one, then throw out his old one in Bikini Bottom Dump, and make a card which Squidward offers to sign, only to discover that the old mattress had his money in it. Krabs then goes into a "Cash Coma", and ends up in the hospital, where he is ill-treated. Meanwhile, a police officer reveals to them of what Squidward wrote on the card: "This was all my idea! Love Squidward." The officer says that if Krabs dies, Squidward would be behind bars which leaves Squidward to look terrible and to worry. 

Squidward, SpongeBob, and Patrick go find the mattress, only to find that there is a guard worm, which they do not know about. Then they make several failed plans. Meanwhile, the doctor tells the nurse to put Mr. Krabs somewhere else. Eventually, Squidward develops a plan called "Worm Bait" to make himself look better. As part of the plan,  SpongeBob and Patrick put on steak costumes to distract the guard worm only to find out Squidward tricked them. 

Meanwhile, the doctor tells the nurse to put his body somewhere else (outside). Then Mr. Krabs' body is on the operating table rolling down the hill while Squidward gives up on trying to look better. Mr. Krabs smells the mattress, jumps to it, wakes up, thanks SpongeBob and Patrick for their help (since they were at the scene of his mattress), and gets his old mattress back, while Squidward is left to be chased by the guard worm as punishment.

==Trivia/Goofs==
*When the administrator is named Administrator Flotsam, the caption did not show the name Flotsam. 
*The song "Happy Sponge Chase Vibes" could also be heard in the episodes [[Funny Pants]], [[Whale of a Birthday]], [[Hocus Pocus (Episode)|Hocus Pocus]], [[Money Talks]], and [[Fungus Among Us]]. 
*A similar guard worm would later appear in [[Best Frenemies (Episode)|Best Frenemies]]
*Running Gags: 
**Mr. Krabs gets pushed to different places, including the sidewalk.
**Squidward gets attacked by the guard worm.
*Administrator Flotsam says that Mr. Krabs is out on the front sidewalk. But there is no sidewalk. He is just on the sand.
*[[Eugene H. Krabs|Mr. Krabs]] sleeps on a bed but in episodes before this, he sleeps in a hammock.
*When Mr. Krabs put his money in his mattress and lost it this could be a reference to a lot of shows when people hid money or valuables in places like their mattresses thinking it would be safe when the house burnt down or was robbed.
*When Mr. Krabs was arriving, SpongeBob's back reforms like the T-1000 from Terminator 2: Judgement Day.
*When Patrick is lying on the mattress they chose to buy for Mr. Krabs which has a massaging device inside it the clerk gestures the remote to SpongeBob as if it is representing the mattress and then shuts it to turn it off; the way he does it shows that when you turn the massaging device off the mattress closes over the owner. 
*Mr. Krabs has never heard of a bank.
*When [[Squidward Tentacles|Squidward]] was signing the card, he was using a pencil, but when the police officer was showing him the card, "This was all my idea! Love Squidward" it is shown to be written in blue crayon.
*When SpongeBob and Patrick look at all the mattresses, the rows seem to cut into each other.
*In [[The Abrasive Side (Episode)|The Abrasive Side]] Abrasive SpongeBob says "I wouldn't hang out with you for all the money in Krabs' mattress." as a possible nod to this episode.
