David Michael Hasselhoff (born July 17, 1952 in Baltimore, Maryland), nicknamed "The Hoff", is an American actor who is best known for his lead roles on "Knight Rider" and "Baywatch", and he also played in the "Sci-Fi" channel original movie "Anaconda 3" along with John Rhys-Davies. He also crossed over to a successful music career, primarily in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. He plays as himself in The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie as said in the credits, but actually, he was portrayed by a robot who was voiced by The Hoff.He'll appear again in an upcoming TV Movie,Neptune's Party.

The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie

David Hasselhoff appears at the end of the movie in order to get SpongeBob and Patrick back to Bikini Bottom. He seemed to not be human in the movie, but was very friendly. SpongeBob and Patrick fought Dennis on David Hasselhoff's body, and then David used his rocket launching chest to launch SpongeBob and Patrick back to the Krusty Krab II. However, he was burnt by King Neptune's giant ray. Somehow revealed to be alive, he presumably swims to shore.
