Plot

When the son of the legendary race-car driver, Tony Fast Jr., begins attending Mrs. Puff's Boating School, SpongeBob gains helpful advice from him that makes driving easier for him. SpongeBob and Tony Fast Jr. went into the boat. But things get chaotic when the two go for a drive around town in his father's racing boat. They burned Larry and squished Mrs. Puff. The ending when Mrs. Puff said after "I think that Tony Jr gave us an important lesson and you know what that is?" and SpongeBob said "Oh oh, is it never argue and drive?", Mrs. Puff replies "Close.. never let you drive".

Trivia/Goofs

The episode's name may be a reference to Hotshot, an Autobot from the Transformers franchise.
This is the second time SpongeBob learns from a different person about driving rather than Mrs. Puff. The first time was Mrs. Puff, You're Fired.
This is going to air in the SpongeBob Summer Marathon.
