Plot

Pearl goes through her growth spurt and to avoid spending money, Mr. Krabs steals food from friends.

Trivia/Goofs

  • Somehow, Squidward's house spoke.
  • At the end, Pearl is so big that if she stood up,she would get a huge hole in the Krusty Krab!
  • Most of Patrick's food in this episode is made of sand, like his other furniture. How does Patrick survive?
  • This is the fourth time that Pearl wasn't embarrassed by or didn't get angry at Mr. Krabs. The first was Culture Shock. The second was Bossy Boots. The third is Tentacle Vision, but loosely.
  • The title is a play on words of the phrase growth spurt.
  • This is the second time a worm spits on Mr. Krabs. The first time was in Pet or Pests.
  • The title card music is the same as Imitation Krabs.
  • In this episode Mrs. Puff does not know Mr. Krabs at all, but in Krusty Love she knew Mr. Krabs, but this episode might take place before Krusty Love.
  • It makes no sense that Mr. Krabs gives Pearl food to make her stop growing, but that's not even close to being correct, giving Pearl more food would make her grow even more, not stop her from growing.
  • Since Pearls room is on the 2nd floor, Mr Krabs brought a full refridgerator up stairs in less than 30 seconds.
