Plot

While being asked to make a Krabby Patty, Plankton who is Mr. Krabs arch enemy and childhood friend takes the Patty away. Mr Krabs steps on Plankton, to avoid him from stealing the formula. Spongebob brings the patty to the customer. When Spongebob heads home, he has a conversation with Plankton, he tells Spongebob that it is his birthday the next day, and gives him a golden spatula. Plankton asks Spongebob to bring him a Krabby Patty.

During the night, Plankton controls Spongebob's brain, which causes SpongeBob to wake up. He orders Spongebob to get a Krabby Patty, then heads to the Chum Bucket. Plankton shows him off his dog, a Labrador. He takes him to his labratory. Plankton is about to drop the patty into Karen, Plankton's computer wife. For example, Plankton drops a seaweed from the patty, 50% Sea 50% Weed. Spongebob worries about the patty, Plankton is gonna drop the patty into Karen. But Plankton jumps inside Karen. Plankton 1% Evil 99*% Hot Gas. SpongeBob leaves with the Krabby Patty.

Trivia/Goofs

This is the first appearance of Karen and Plankton, and also the second episode Doug Lawrence voiced in. The first was Ripped Pants.
SpongeBob's laugh is very different in this episode.
SpongeBob's line to Plankton when he is in his brain, "Leave my brain alone!", has become a staple on T-shirts and in pop culture for media manipulation.
When SpongeBob is walking towards his pants, the tie is red, but when the pants are just under his nose, it is black. This also happened in the episode Rock-A-Bye Bivalve.
Squidward's bedroom is on the first floor of his house instead of on the second floor.
In addition, this episode depicted Patrick's rock hollow and that Patrick slept on the rock rather than under it.
Plankton changes sizes throughout the episode. When he is first seen, a magnifying glass is required to see him clearly. When he encountered SpongeBob, he's about the size of SpongeBob's finger. When he sneaks into SpongeBob's brain, he's about the size of a walnut. Then when he jumps to the Krabby Patty, he is the size of SpongeBob's finger again.
First two episode pair to not have Sandy.
Weird how Plankton doesn't say who Karen is. He says "my analyzer." instead of Karen!
Sea sponges do not have brains, so how come Spongebob has one?
