A Couple Edits
Design
While Spongebob has experienced a few minor body changes in the series, there are little changes as the series went on but mainly he is the same. From season 4, SpongeBob seemed a bit bigger and brighter. Near the first season he was quite big and darker. This is a list of many different designs that SpongeBob has had:
Earlier in the series, darker holes
Later in the Series, Lighter
More Wavy design along the sides

Lighter, but straighter and smaller
Still light but face bigger and a bit taller
The season 2 Stage was a bit darker
Pretty much average and in between light and dark, tall and small looks
Note that these are only extremely minor differences, it just depends on when it was made. As time goes on, minor changes need to be made.
