Trivia
- The episode's title is a pun of the word "Insomniac".
- Was to air on January 16, 2012, but was pulled.
- This episode was supposed to be Production Code 168 and was to be paired with Planet of the Jellyfish but was changed to 171 and was paired with Karen 2.0.
- When SpongeBob walked to Patrick's house, Squidward's house was missing.
- This episode was going to be about Mr. Krabs having a nightmare and turning into a mustard dispenser. It is a possibility that it was changed due to it being too scary for the younger kids or causing to be TV-14. But the mustard dispenser Krabs was still seen in SpongeBob's nightmare. It was probably a callback to the original plot.
