Plot

When Squidward is mistaken for his much more famous rival, Squilliam Fancyson, he is invited to teach a class at the most prestigious music school in Bikini Bottom. Squidward is happy to pretend to be Squilliam if it means he can teach a class of adoring fans – until SpongeBob and Patrick show up and nearly blow his cover.

Trivia/Goofs

• In past episodes Squidward's middle name initial was J., but in this episode it is Q.
• In this episode, we learn that Squilliam's full name is Squilliam Fancyson III.
• This is the third time SpongeBob was hypnotized, the first was in Squilliam Returns, and the second was in Fear of a Krabby Patty.
• The title card music is the same as "The Inmates of Summer", "Your Shoe's Untied", "Gone" and "Ditchin'".
• The 2nd time a metronome was seen. The first was "Have You Seen This Snail?".
• SpongeBob tickles his feet but you can't tickle yourself.
• According to TV.com, this Episode (along with Atlantis SquarePantis) has a 'mediocre' rating. (but however only 1 person rated those)
• This is the fourth appearance of Squilliam.
