::::I believed you. I just knew that if this person turned out to be smart. We'd have a huge issue made huger so we needed a flawless and undeniable bit of proof. I suggest that you embed (if you can't I can for you) your name into every single image and have them reuploaded. This way we don't have any more issues like this and we can help you out quickly. 22:57, 25 March 2009 (GMT)

Welcome to my talk page. Talk to me!

Yeah!

I noticed the exact same thing! We should make a statement on the website image saying: "Is this from that other Website SpongePedia? Because I checked recent changes not long ago and they look exactly the same!"

I think you should go make a statement about it. Tell me when your done. Nice pointing out by the way! --Andrewrox Talk 08:11, 21 March 2009 (GMT)

I also do notice that they copy our info, and so did SpongyWiki, but that website is long gone! We have the right to tell them on the wikia, so we should go do it now!!!

Title Card

I already put the title cards in their respective places (Choir Boys (Episode) - Episodes/Season 6)

Same!

About 45 mins ago I put: Taken from SpongePedia!!! on heaps of images. I don't care if I get blocked, cause it's true! --Andrewrox Talk 07:22, 25 March 2009 (GMT)

You really layed down the law to that admin! That is a very professional way to handle the issue. Well done, I too cannot wait to see what he says! --Andrewrox Talk 07:26, 25 March 2009 (GMT)
This is what I had to say. Bug off. Rgoodermote 20:46, 25 March 2009 (GMT)
As an old time Wikipedian. I understand copyrights. You under no way own the copyright to any image that you upload or claim was taken from you. I don't care if you uploaded them. I don't care if you took them from Wikipedia.I do not care period. As long as you can back up what you have to say without being a complete *&%* and using some "custom compression" or in other words...PHOTOSHOP....as your excuse to try and get your way and disrupt another competing Wiki. I would willingly change the images. However you have to do something better than that. I suggest putting some sorta embed information into your images saying that you uploaded em. This way I can effectively do my job. But as you seem to think that a compression that Photoshop uses (which is quite commonly used) is enough for me to say it is your upload you are mistaken. As for timestamps....you gotta give me more than just "time zone differences". So instead embed your info into the damn images so I can deal with the guy. I'm already annoyed by him. But as an admin I'm not going to do anything without proper information or without reason. If you haven't got this yet, this is a bug off and a...I really want you to prove that those are yours because this is some one who has appeared on my radar long before you even showed up. Rgoodermote 20:56, 25 March 2009 (GMT)
I am sorry I called you a *&$*. But you know we both are being **$&s..stubborn ones at that. Anyways, we need to do something. I believe you. I haven't said I didn't. I just want more proof that you are telling the truth. I have a plan if you are willing to listen to me. We talk here, please. Rgoodermote 21:25, 25 March 2009 (GMT)
We can talk here, I anxiously await your plan. --Darren 21:28, 25 March 2009 (GMT)

(undent)Alright so my issue is that some one could claim that they used Photoshop to do your compression and then they could pull a time zone bull crap thing. However if you embed something into say a "title card" then upload it we could use that image and that embedded piece of info against that person. They could not dispute your claim then and then we'd go through and clear out all of their uploads or (most likely) we'll attribute them to you. I've already requested our newest admin watch this user's uploads. Also, if you place this "Similar to [(your hyperlink to image here) this image] by Darren at Spongepedia." on the image space I can promise you that you will not be reverted. Rgoodermote 21:32, 25 March 2009 (GMT)

I like it, but there aren't any new title cards to be uploaded anytime soon, I worked really hard to make sure that we had them all. That's part of the reason I was so upset to see them uploaded to your site by said user. I could make a fake one and upload it... however, I really hated the fake cards that made the rounds a couple weeks ago, and I don't want to provide misinformation. --Darren 21:45, 25 March 2009 (GMT)

I've got a dislike for a fake cards as well. I could say we need a higher quality of an image and ask him to upload it and see what happens. Also, I deleted and restored selectively at my wiki so that only admin could see what was going on. Rgoodermote 21:49, 25 March 2009 (GMT)
Hold on a tick, I'll make up a legit title card using one of your current ones and embed something in it for you. Rgoodermote 21:54, 25 March 2009 (GMT)
Ok --Darren 21:59, 25 March 2009 (GMT)

Just know that any image you give me will have to go into photobucket because SpongePedia is low on space --Darren 22:02, 25 March 2009 (GMT)

Was already way ahead of you on that. So what I did was embed what is call Metadata into the image and I placed your name in it. here it is. So to see if it is yours you save it to your desktop or wherever, right click then go to properties. Then click on the tabbed called "Details" and there it will say your name. Rgoodermote 22:08, 25 March 2009 (GMT)
This is how you do it on Vista at least. I also embedded a lot of other things on it so that even if there is an attempt to delete that very obvious one there are ones that you need special software to get to to remove. Rgoodermote 22:10, 25 March 2009 (GMT)

Unfortunately, I cannot see the metadata that you entered. I'm running Windows XP, and all I don't see my name. hmm. Let me see if I can view metadata using Macromedia Fireworks... --Darren 22:16, 25 March 2009 (GMT)

Owe, if you have Adobe Bridge you can see it. Rgoodermote 22:19, 25 March 2009 (GMT)

(undent) What it looks like to me. I am thinking that difference is between the OS's. If you have some Adobe Product you may be able to see it. I would use Bridge as that is what I used to add the data. Rgoodermote 22:22, 25 March 2009 (GMT)

I can view it in ImageMagick. Where do we go from here? --Darren 22:25, 25 March 2009 (GMT)
Upload this version with the permission of the admin. From there I will make the request to Titanic that he work his magic and upload a new copy. If the metadata is that of this. We have our evidence and we have ourselves a freshly banned user. Rgoodermote 22:26, 25 March 2009 (GMT)
Ok, in order to not attract attention, I'll have to put the new image on photobucket, and delete the old image. Otherwise the timestamps might create some suspicion, and I don't want to tip anyone off. I don't think there is an admin on right now, so let me see what I can do. --Darren 22:31, 25 March 2009 (GMT)
I have to actually sign off now. My love is home and I'd like to give her attention. I'll catch you later and mate, nice meeting you. Rgoodermote 22:32, 25 March 2009 (GMT)

I would do the same. I'll go forward with the plan. I might not have the image up for a bit though. --Darren 22:34, 25 March 2009 (GMT)

It is also highly probable that said user still has the images on his computer somewhere. --Darren 22:41, 25 March 2009 (GMT)
I'm not gone completely..may be here for about an hour or so or (this one is the likeliest) come on randomly. I don't think he'll upload the same image again. Just mark your image as saying "Higher Quality" and that should be enough bait for him. If he does upload the same image again we'll have to do something else. I was thinking I just call him a liar and hit him with a block (lying is against the rules of a Wiki and has been a blocking offense on Wikipedia and other wikis) Rgoodermote 22:50, 25 March 2009 (GMT)
Will do. You already called me a liar, why didn't you block me right away ? :-P --Darren 22:55, 25 March 2009 (GMT)
