Plot
Squidward is thrilled that the workday is over, but, after advice from hungry customers, Mr. Krabs. changes the Krusty Krabs' hours to 24 hours a day. SpongeBob is excited about this, but Squidward is not one bit. Later, Squidward has SpongeBob take out the trash, but SpongeBob is too scared to because of the darkness outside. He braves the outside and dashes out to the dumpster and back while screaming the whole way. Squidward tells him a scary story about the Hash Slinging Slasher when he gets back. Which scares SpongeBob stiff.
Trivia/Goofs
- If the only two employees are Squidward and SpongeBob, then how does the teenager get a job application?
- The episode's title references to the night shift.
