It is revealed that in Band Geeks, he probably died or was seriously injured.
He is also very eyeshot by King Neptune's very hot boldness in the Krusty Krab 2 in the Spongebob Squarepants Movie.
Fred may be a wealthy fish, because he is part of Squilliam Fancyson's friends, auctioned Mr.Krabs for $1,000,000 for the Soda-Drinking Hat, and in All that Glitters, he got all of Spongebob's life insurance and salary money for Le Spatula.
