Jim, the original fry cook visits the Krusty Krab, making Mr. Krabs pay more attention to him than SpongeBob depressed. Back then, the Krusty Krab had class and everything was great, even for Squidward (he had hair!). He asks Jim if he would train him to be just as good as a fry cook as Jim. So Jim tries to train SpongeBob, but he did not do well. Jim then continues to get more attention because he missed.
So SpongeBob writes a resignation to Mr. Krabs because he thinks that Jim is taking SpongeBob's job back. But before he leaves, Jim tells SpongeBob the reason why he left The Krusty Krab. He left because Mr. Krabs refused to give him a raise because when he asked Mr. Krabs for one, he just laughed which infuriated Jim. Jim then Told SpongeBob good luck and that he is going to need it. He also said that one day he could go to a much better place, and Jim left, and SpongeBob was happy and went back to fry cooking.
