While strong, Monoricus could not tell the gladiators from the actual Clamiseum staff. It was GrandPat's job to dress like a clown and distract him, to the crowd's disapproval. GrandPat makes a balloon animal as a distraction and places a barrel over Moronicus's head, leading him to smash headfirst into a column and fall into a dazed state. The crowd applauds and showers GrandPat in the thumbs, which accidentally hurts him since they are made of concrete.

| − | Patrick had not listened to the story, and GrandPat sees Bubble Bass trying to buy a "vintage nose hair puller." He says they were teeth-pulling pliers from his medieval dentistry days. GrandPat was the only "toothsmith," a blacksmith who operates on teeth, in the kingdom. After pulling out a patient's tooth, he gets a message from Princess Pearlina, and goes over to her castle. Although it initially seems like Pearlina has a toothache, it is actually her pet dragon. GrandPat goes inside the dragon's mouth, and gets burned multiple times by his fire breath. With the help of a knight he meets, and Pearlina's strength, he manages to pull out the tooth. In the present day, GrandPat takes back his pliers and prevents his dragon tooth furniture from being sold.

Mr. Krabs shows up, wanting to buy a vacuum cleaner, and GrandPat explains that it is from his job as a vacuum salesman in 1849. In the flashback, he goes up to an old prospector and cleans his mine to demonstrate. When he turns up the power, he sucks up all the gold in the mine, and the miner himself. While GrandPat is in his trance, Mr. Krabs buys the vacuum from Patrick.
