'''Patrick's Inflatable Pants''' are a pair of pants that appeared in the episodes [[Patty Hype (Episode)|Patty Hype]], [[The Sponge Who Could Fly (Episode)|The Sponge Who Could Fly]], and [[Karate Star (Episode)|Karate Star]]. 

==Looks==
They resemble Patrick's normal shorts exactly, except that these have a built in function that allows them to instantly inflate outwards a few feet, easily enveloping most of Patrick.

In [[Patty Hype (Episode) |Patty Hype]], Patrick wore two pairs of the pants, one of the pairs was inflated by Patrick during his and Spongebob's demonstration of each other's ideas, they later promptly exploded after Spongebob explains his idea, likely intentional as there is no other shown method of taking them off. When bursted, they leave a patch of the material on Patrick's crotch for modesty's sake. Patrick later wore a second pair in the episode immediatly after the destruction of the first, they inflate unwarrented while Patrick is inside Spongebob, and Patrick quickly exits him via one of his holes, forcefully deflating the pants. Due to this pair never appearing again, it's likely that either this action damaged the inflation feature and they turned into normal shorts, or they were destroyed off-screen.

==Features==
Made to look exactly like his normal shorts, but very likely made from a different fabric

Has a handle that sticks out of the back, that causes the pants to inflate to massive proportions if pulled

They also have a (so far) unknowingly triggered self destruct feature that causes them to quickly over-inflate and explode into nothingness, although they do leave a patch of fabric on Patrick for modesty's sake. The fact that this feature is the only way to exit the pants (which is a weird mistake to make on Patrick's part, since due to his usual stupidity he forgot to put in some sort of deflation function, but he for some reason decided to give the pants a self-destruct system so that he could exit them without hassle. The mistake is that he isn't intelligent enough to even put in any method of deflation, self-destruct or otherwise feature that would allow him to exit the pants, yet he puts in an (albeit wasteful) exiting system for ease-of-exit. It's a demonstration of both genius and stupidity, typical Patrick), and Patrick wearing an intact pair later in the episode (that Patrick does not pop, however they do forcibly deflate back to normal after being cramped inside Spongebob) goes to show that the inflatable pants are disposable, and only allow one use per pair. Therefore, it's likely that Patrick owns multiple pairs of them. 2 pairs are confirmed to exist, one being the pair that explodes, the other's fate unknown, likely also burst off of Patrick sometime after the events of the episode. Either that, or he made a plentitude of them for his wardrobe, and one (or two, potentially) destroyed pairs would not have affected him.
