After Mr. Krabs acquires a beat-up food truck, SpongeBob and Squidward are ordered not to return to the Krusty Krab until they've sold a Krabby Patty. After having no luck in Bikini Bottom, they enter Rock Bottom, the trench-based city that both of them have previously visited.

They spend hours chasing a mysterious stranger who appears to be gesturing to them, only to find out that the fish was "airing out their armpits." While trying to sell the strange fish a Krabby Patty, a bus arrives which is packed with fish all returning from their yearly trip to the Krusty Krab. Exhausted and defeated, SpongeBob and Squidward are left with no choice but to return to work, where they sell Mr. Krabs a Krabby Patty and fulfill their quota.
